SCM Capital Ltd is an introducing firm. We work with a number of regulated money management firms, we are not fund managers and will never directly manage client funds, all fund management company’s we recommend are fully regulated by either by Swiss or EU regulatory bodies.
shane morton
Shane (Dublin, Ireland) brings 15 years IT and Sales expertise to SCM. He found his true calling when he discovered trading forex in 2010, since then he has completed several trading courses, is an active member of numerous trading clubs and proceeded to trade as a part time trader while still working at his day job. In October 2015 Shane resigned from his fulltime IT sales role to focus on building his trading business.
I’m a very technical, enthusiastic, proactive and problem solving individual, since a young age I have always asked too many questions, always questioned why? And wouldn’t it be better this way? I always wanted to open up everything I could get my hands on to see how it worked! This passion has fuelled my 15-year career in the IT services industry where I started at the bottom and quickly advanced from general office admin to field services, to field services team leader, to technical
specialist, to solutions architect and finally into sales Manager.
I found real love in financial trading in 2010 and ever since then I have put in countless hours to learn as much as possible. I made a decision at the beginning of 2015 to leave my IT Sales role and go full time trading. So far this has worked out very well and I’m very excited to be giving SCM Capital my full undivided attention going forward. As always I’m very hands on and head first into it everything.
